Success! Full Planning granted for a 4-Bed Barn Conversion in South Yorkshire
Prism Ag was successfully gained full planning permission for the Change of Use of this former agricultural livestock building in the Barnsley Green Belt, whilst the barn was originally erected for the purposes of agriculture, its last use was in connection with an agricultural diversification business which had relocated its sales facility elsewhere in the district.
The former agricultural barn is sited between a residential dwelling (former farmhouse) and another barn conversion which had gained Class Q consent in 2018 (Class Q allows for the conversion of redundant agricultural buildings to form 'up to' five dwellings, subject to the proposals meeting a specific set criteria). This conversion will create a single storey, 4-bedroomed detached dwelling and appropriate curtilage, electrical vehicle charging points and parking area for several cars.
